Is it a Fungus or a Lichen or are they one and the same thing...????
Any way.......it's a great pic......shows the scale of things

That's looks like a Moss to me Ady with some Litchen on the right of it, as a guide, no Fungi are green in colour.
Macro looks good, maybe a tad of Brightness to bring it out more?

Ady ..Thanks for correcting me , you`re right " LICHEN".. I could not think of the name ,so I called it fungi with after Googling lichen I was partly correct too..
A lichen is a stable combination of a fungus and a partner organism that uses light to photosynthesise. The partner is either an alga or a cyanobacterium. The fungus provides the fabric, and the partner, which lives inside, provides carbohydrate....
..you learn something new every day, don`t ya ..... Tez ..I`ll have a play and see if I can brighten it up a tad....Cheers for your comments guys
