In the olden days when life was in Black and White, it was a tradition to have a photographer to come to the house and take a number of photographs of the children, firstly when babies when you were plonked on the sideboard and dressed in best romper suit, then again a few years later. This photo is one of a number taken 1963..ish... of me and my brother. the cutains were used a back drop and arm of the sofa was used as a perch, I have no recollection of the lighting used (if any).....what do you think?.....and what would be done differently today? My hair ( I am the oldest ) was a curly mop and was combed into submission for the pictures and we were paraded in our sunday best. Not very true portrayal of reality.

Judging by your avatar you look like you are wearing well , you must of had a good paper round.. Did you scan your B&W or take a snap

Thank you for that comment Mike, but, don't even think about enlarging the avatar A few years ago I took every photograph in the house and took to scanning them all so I could parcel them up and put them in the loft and still have access on the Computer. It took and age because I wanted them at as high resolution as possible. lets hope I won't have to transfer them to another media format in a hurry.
